The most important driver of our success is the money that has been donated by you and thousands of others. That money has been put to work funding the processes that will yield treatments and cures. Your financial support makes possible the Science, Patient Care and Advocacy efforts that each play an essential role in the search for effective treatments and cures for ALS. 

The Golden West Chapter provides an evidence based model of care services that helps people live longer and better with ALS, we support the ALS specialty clinics that provide state-of-the-art medical care and are the sites where clinical trials are conducted, unconstrained by the need to sustain a single lab - we fund the best science all around the world, and initiate and support essential public policy initiatives that generate the largest single source of ALS research funding and improve the lives of those living with ALS. Everything the Golden West Chapter does supports the work necessary to create a world without ALS! And this work is only possible if we donate.

To keep this amazing work going, I'm participating in the 19th Annual Napa Ride to Defeat ALS and Walk on September 23, 2023. This ride is an exciting opportunity for us to come together and support those affected by ALS by raising the funds necessary to expand our services and accelerate the search for effective treatments and cures.
