In 2009 my dear loving husband, Chris, was diagnosed with ALS! Our lives have been extremely challenging since that day when we got that terrible diagnosis over 14 years ago. Being a caregiver for an ALS victim is very stressful, heartbreaking and requires extremely hard work. 

When we recovered from the shock of the drastic changes in our lives, we dedicated ourselves to make a difference in the fight to defeat ALS and help the thousands of families in our situation. Please help me make a difference by donating to me. 

This year our Team Mavo is walking in the Silicon Valley Walk to Defeat ALS on Oct 14th. Last year our little team of individuals finished in 2nd place despite competing against huge silicon valley corporations! This year our goal is to be champions!
