COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

** The health and safety of our participants, attendees, volunteers, and staff remains our top priority. Our COVID-19 safety protocols will continue to evolve based on recommendations, guidelines, and restrictions set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and by state and local authorities. Please check back regularly for up-to-date information regarding COVID-19 safety protocols for the 2022 SoCal Ride and Rally to Defeat ALS. **

Attendees are encouraged to follow prevention strategies, such as wearing well-fitted masks; staying home and testing when symptomatic; and testing before gatherings. Staying up to date on vaccinations, meaning primary series and boosters when eligible, remains the most important and effective way to prevent severe illness, hospitalization and death.

By attending this gathering you expressly agree to comply with any and all rules and safety guidelines put in place by local authorities, and voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, waiving all claims and potential claims against the event organizers, and their affiliated companies relating to such risks.

SoCal Ride and Rally to Defeat ALS COVID-19 Safety & Health Information

Please review the above information regarding face covering requirements for the 2022 SoCal Ride and Rally to Defeat ALS.

It is recommended that all attendees and participants wear face coverings before and after the race, however it is not required for participants on course. Face coverings need to cover your nose and mouth fully. Practice social distancing when able to ensure a safe event space.

Individuals who fall within any of the categories below should not participate in the SoCal Ride and Rally to Defeat ALS. By attending the SoCal Ride and Rally to Defeat ALS, you certify that you do not fall into any of the following categories:

1. Individuals who currently or within the past fourteen (14) days have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, severe headache, and shortness of breath among others.

2. Individuals who have traveled at any point in the past fourteen (14) days either internationally or to a community in the U.S. that has experienced or is experiencing sustained community spread of COVID-19.

3. Individuals who believe that they may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for their treatment.
