About The Event
About the event: The 2nd annual Central Coast Ride and Rally to Defeat ALS is a one-day community event for runners and walkers of all levels. We offer 3 ride options, 34 miles, 25 miles, 18 miles, as well as a 1 mile walking route (not timed) all starting from Bang the Drum Brewery in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Join us and register today as we come together as a community to defeat ALS in memory of all of those we have lost, and to all of those we are running in honor of now.
If you are unable to join us at Bang the Drum Brewery for the 2023 Central Coast Ride and Rally to Defeat ALS, we encourage you to register as a virtual participant and participate YOUR WAY from wherever you are in the world and help us raise much-needed funds for our ALS community.
Day of Schedule
6:00 AM - Volunteers Arrive
7:30 AM - Day-Of Registration/Check in Opens for 34 mile riders
8:00 AM - 34 mile ride begins under the arch
8:00 AM - Day of Registration/Check in Opens for 25 mile riders
8:30 AM - 25 mile ride begins under the arch
8:30 AM - Day of Registration/Check in Opens for 18 mile riders
9:00 AM - 18 mile ride begins under arch
10:30 AM - Day of Registration/Check in Opens for Walkers
11:00AM - Walk begins under the arch
Directions and Parking
The Central Coast Ride and Rally to Defeat ALS will start and finish at Bang the Drum Brewery (1150 Laurel Ln Ste 130, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401)
