Start a Team: If you plan to be the team captain of a team and are ready to hit the pavement, you can start a new team during registration.

What are the costs involved?
The Walk to Defeat ALSŪ is free for all participation types, although fundraising is encouraged.
Do I have to fundraise?
It is suggested that all participants raise a minimum of $100 to earn a t-shirt. If you are a first-time fundraiser or are interested in learning more, check out our Fundraising Tools. Our staff is another resource for you and we will be here for you at every step of the way! Don't hesitate to reach out and we can come up with a fundraising plan together!
What happens if I am not able to raise $100 by event-day?
If you aren't able to raise $100 by event day, you can still participate and walk! It is a suggested minimum, but even small donations show support and unity. Also, fundraising does not end after event day, so you will still have time to reach that goal if you are able!
My friends might start a team, can I register as an individual now and switch to their team later?
Of course! We can easily move you onto a team if you choose. Just email us and let us know!
Do I have to join a team?
